Dr. Ronald H. Kienitz, DO, serves as the medical director at the Honolulu, Hawaii-based Concentra Medical Centers, where he provides urgent care for job-related injuries, illnesses, and travel emergencies. In addition, Dr. Ronald H. Kienitz, DO, belongs to the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and formerly held a position in its House of Delegates. The AOA will host the Advocacy for Healthy Partnerships (AHP) Conference in January 2017.
Designed for AOA staff and physicians in the osteopathic profession, the AHP Conference features a series of training sessions that impart a diverse range of knowledge and skills necessary to the field of osteopathology. Attendees will learn how to successfully advocate for patients and engage in discussion and learning tracks involving topics such as grassroots advocacy, emerging issues in health policies, and best practices. The event will also include discussions on effective communication strategies and keynote addresses, with an Affiliate Alignment Retreat to kick off the conference.
The Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel and Marina in Florida will host the AHP Conference on January 18 and 19, 2017. Contributions from the AOA, Pfizer, Purdue Pharma, Eli Lilly and Company, and the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America help make the conference possible.
